BUSINESS AWARDS 2025

Ards Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce the launch of the Ards Peninsula Business Awards 2025, celebrating the outstanding achievements, innovation, and diversity of local businesses. From manufacturers and retailers to hospitality, technology, and beyond, these awards recognise the vital contributions that businesses make to the local economy.

The prestigious black-tie awards ceremony will take place on Friday 11 April 2025, at The Clandeboye Lodge Hotel.

​

The awards will recognise the hard work and achievements of local businesses in the Ards Peninsula area, as they play a crucial role in driving economic growth and innovation. The awards highlight the remarkable talent and dedication within the community, spanning sectors from artisan producers and hospitality to manufacturing and technology.

The Ards Peninsula Business Awards provide a unique platform for businesses to gain recognition, share their success stories, and celebrate the best of the region’s thriving business community.

Entry Process​

 

Businesses can enter any number of categories.

​

Individuals or companies can nominate any business and individuals and businesses can self nominate.

​

Individuals and/or businesses must reside and be operational in the Ards Peninsula area.

​

The entry deadline is 12 noon Friday 14 March 2025.

​

A panel of experts undertakes judging for each category. Ards Chamber of Commerce has appointed an independent delivery agent who will form the judging panel for these awards. This panel will be responsible for reviewing applications of all award categories and interviewing finalists and deciding the winners.

​

Judging will take place in 2 stages:

​

Stage 1 of the judging process will be to shortlist submissions based on the criteria above.

Shortlisted finalists will be notified by Friday 21 March 2025 and will be invited to take part in Stage 2 of the judging process.

​

Stage 2 will involve shortlisted businesses to attend a 15-minute Zoom interview/presentation with the judging panel on Wednesday 26 March 2025. The panel will then rank the shortlist based on the interview.

​

Winners of the award categories will be announced at the Award Ceremony on the Friday 11 April 2025.
